Similar to the winter fundraiser, WNDU puts on a summer event annually to provide school supplies to students in the area. Kate has taken part in the event since she started. She enjoys interviewing community volunteers, like Big Brothers Big Sisters, during remote broadcasts. She also enjoys interacting with community members who donate to the cause. Kate’s favorite memory from the event was a “school supply rap” she and a colleague sang on live television!
