In the spring of 2014, Kate was awarded the opportunity to host a first of its kind event for Goodwill Industries of Michiana. The organization started a low-cost bridal show for the community, and asked Kate to be the event emcee. During the event, Kate moderated fashion shows alongside a local fashion guru in addition to adding general commentary and socializing with attendees.
